Free business cards, anyone?

Posted on 7 October 08, in fun, miscellaneous

The good folks of uprinting.com approached me with a great offer: a 1000 free business cards to give away. More specifically, I get to give 4 readers 250 cards each, from any stock at any custom size offered. Completely free! How's that for a start of your week?

In order to compete, all you need to do is post a comment about what you would use the cards for if you win them. Commenting closes in 2 weeks from today at October 20, 2008. Four winners will then be picked randomly. Read the rest of this article for further details.

Make it worn - Template

Posted on 6 September 08, in design, downloads

While doing the Make it worn series I received quite a few requests for a template based on the design I created. Most of you requested a Wordpress template. And while I don't have that, I might have something else for you.

First: I am not a Wordpress specialist. Actually, I don't have a lot of experience with Wordpress at all (Textpattern baby!). So creating a Wordpress template would be difficult even if I wanted to. Although you can use it as such if you like.

offlife

It’s a been while since I’ve posted. As much as I’d like to apoligize, I’m not sorry at all :).

Since last fall I’ve spend so much time behind computer screens that it was time to cut back for a bit and experience offlife (life offline, not sure if the term exists. If it doesn’t, I hereby claim it’s invention!) for a while.

Featured in Web Designer magazine

Posted on 25 April 08, in subdued, design

Last night I received a comment saying that I'm featured in the latest issue (143) of Web Designer magazine. I've never been featured in a printed magazine, so you can imagine I was thrilled!

What I'd expect was a small mention, maybe even a tiny screenshot along with an article on one subject or another, but when I got my hands on the magazine this morning I found out there was a 2 page spread dedicated to my site!! Hooray!! :)
